Together with Tait and his mum I went to Gore, a small 'city' (not sure if it is one as it is really small) to do some grocery shopping and just chill out. Tait's mum gave me a cappuccino, so I guess she already knows how to make me happy haha! This was the last weekend at the family and it brought up mixed feelings as on one hand you're happy to travel around the country and see the most amazing places in Kiwi land but also.. after a while I get attached to things and people really easily so it was weird to say goodbye. They gave me a present which meant alot to me, because it wasn't 'just' a present.. they gave me a rugby shirt of the All Blacks so they knew they gave me something that I wanted so badly. I will definitely miss them, but luckily enough we live in the 21st century so we can always video call, was what I was telling myself when it was time to leave. Yes.. talking about leaving..😅 I will come back to that later..

On Sunday I went for one last road trip with my Suza car and went to the Paraukanui waterfalls which is on the East coast. It is actually really close to Bluff and Stirling point where I was a couple of weeks before :).
The waterfall was small but yet beautiful, just like a kiwi.. small but so beautiful and special in it's own way ❤

So like I said talking about leaving.. I missed the bus the next morning, because there was some confusement on email with the bus organisation and I missed the email saying they changed my departure location to Balfour instead of leaving from Lumsden.
Anyway the next day I was up on time, said goodbye to everyone and went to the bus station which was next to the only general store in town. A man that works there was always really nice to me when I kept on coming back for my ciggies haha. He wished me a safe journey and we said goodbye. Yes.. there comes the bus I made it! 😁
A awfully long trip was ahead of me.. a 10 hour bus drive from Balfour to Christchurch, but patient as I am 🙈 I didn't mind it so much. The ride to there was beautiful and I didn't drive there myself so everything was new and exciting. After 10 hours I arrived in Christchurch and there was Luciano to pick me up.

I want to thank my kiwi family for giving me the feeling that I was a member of your family. You're such a lovely family and I am grateful for meeting you and for the time I got to spend with your two lovely, sweet kids. But for me this actually doesn't feel like a goodbye to me but more of a 'see you later', because I would love to see you all again some day! I wish you, especially in this time, the best of luck and prosperity and that you may stay safe. Kia kite koe i muri my kiwi family! 😘
